SELECTED EXPERIENCE

NJV have been involved in the concept design, design and delivery of the following selected projects:

• The Netcare Margate Hospital Extensions.
NJV is the structural and civil engineer for the new 3-storey hospital extension currently under construction at the existing complex.

• The Netcare Parklands Hospital Extensions
NJV was the structural and civil engineer for the new 2-storey hospital extension at the existing complex.

• Gateway Private Hospital, Umhlanga
NJV was the structural and civil engineer for the new multi-level parking and Consultants suite building at the new hospital.

• Standard Bank Headquarters, Maputo
NJV was the structural, Civil and Facade Engineer for the new SBSA complex incorporating an 8 storey office block

• New Lecture Theatres for Edgewood College, Durban (R25m)
NJV was the Structural Engineer for the new reinforced concrete framed three storey lecture theatres.

• Princess Magogo Stadium, KwaMashu (R80m)
NJV was the Structural Engineer for the regeneration and extension of the Kwamashu stadium for the 2010 World Cup.

• New Boxer shopping mall, Matatiele (R50m)
NJV is the Structural and Civil engineer for structural steelwork mall covering over 8000m2 of floor area.

• Rydall Views Office Park, Ridge (R40m)
NJV was the Structural and Civil engineer for the new A-grade offices.

• Westhills Residential Development (R10m)
NJV was lead civil engineer and project manager from inception, including Client liaison, approvals, BOQ’s, contract documents, etc.

• Ambrose Park Container Depot (R110m)
NJV was lead civil engineer and project manager from inception, including Client liaison, approvals, BOQ’s, contract documents, etc

• Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban (R50m)
NJV developed a unique system for the cladding system for the Moses Mabhida stadium bowl cladding.

• The New Oyster Box Hotel complex, Umhlanga Rocks (R180m)
NJV was the Structural Engineer for the new hotel complex, reopened in October 2009
